It got me thinking a lot about how I used to think of engagement shoots — dressing up, frolicking in a field, moving couples through prompts…anddd idk, I love a good frolick, but this quiet, introspective, cozy style of storytelling in a confined space stole my heart. Sam and Emily had the most beautiful summer wedding in east Glacier National Park — from their intimate ceremony on the beach of Pray Lake to their adventure session at Many Glacier, these two savored every moment together and repeatedly expressed their gratitude for each other, their loved ones, and the beautiful scenery. It was an honor to film their day and work alongside Jessica Billings Photography. 

Jess and Devin are two of the raddest people I’ve ever met — Jess is a Portland-based DJ and their wife Devin owns The Modern Minimalist, an amazing business offering holistic home organization + styling, in portland oregon + beyond. I was beyond inspired by the way these two move together, consider one another through looks and whispered words, and laughed over inside jokes they each recalled with just a glance. It was just an easy, beautiful shoot — storytelling with married love is my favorite. I think there’s so much beauty in comfort and stability and shared history. These two cracked me up, by the way — when asked if there was anything they weren’t comfortable photographing, they clarified that they didn’t want to lick each other’s faces — lmaoooo. Fair enough.

Nate and Sigrid had the most beautiful wedding in Condon, MT — it had all the woodsy Montana charm you’d expect from a NW Montana wedding, complete with cabins, horses, and plenty of swing dancing. The setting of the riverfront property in the Swan Valley combined with the rainy June atmosphere made this one of the most memorable weddings we’ve ever captured. Wade and JoAnn are two of the raddest people ever — seriously so hard working, hilarious, and family oriented. Bridger and Bailey had the dreamiest summer adventure engagement session at Kootenai Falls outside Libby, MT. The weather was absolutely perfect and these two had a blast hiking to the falls while reminiscing about their relationship — in fact, one of their early dates was at this very location! Tristan and Morgan’s micro-wedding in west Glacier National Park was the epitome of a perfect moody day in the park — rainy, fog surrounding the mountains, and the deep lush greens that GNP is known for. We had such a blast getting these two hitched at Avalanche Amphitheater, followed by an adventure session at Lake McDonald, and then an intimate dinner with their loved ones at Whitefish Lake restaurant.
