I seriously felt so inspired during this intimate PNW lifestyle couples shoot with Michelle + Eamon at the Woodlands House in Sandy, Oregon. It got me thinking a lot about how I used to think of engagement shoots — dressing up, frolicking in a field, moving couples through prompts…anddd idk, I love a good frolick, but this quiet, introspective, cozy style of storytelling in a confined space stole my heart. These moody Lake Como Montana engagement photos are everythingggg — Caleb + Jayden are my dream couple. They came ready to PLAY in the freezing rain, and try to tell me we didn’t channel The Notebook with the last set!?

Sam and Emily had the most beautiful summer wedding in east Glacier National Park — from their intimate ceremony on the beach of Pray Lake to their adventure session at Many Glacier, these two savored every moment together and repeatedly expressed their gratitude for each other, their loved ones, and the beautiful scenery. It was an honor to film their day and work alongside Jessica Billings Photography. 

Jess and Devin are two of the raddest people I’ve ever met — Jess is a Portland-based DJ and their wife Devin owns The Modern Minimalist, an amazing business offering holistic home organization + styling, in portland oregon + beyond. I was beyond inspired by the way these two move together, consider one another through looks and whispered words, and laughed over inside jokes they each recalled with just a glance. It was just an easy, beautiful shoot — storytelling with married love is my favorite. I think there’s so much beauty in comfort and stability and shared history. These two cracked me up, by the way — when asked if there was anything they weren’t comfortable photographing, they clarified that they didn’t want to lick each other’s faces — lmaoooo. Fair enough. 

James + Veronica are serving allll the wedding inspo at this styled Sandy, Oregon Elopement at the Woodlands House — they were so sweet with each other and it was a blast getting to know them in their engagement season. This day was EVERYTHING an Oregon wedding should be — drizzling moody rain, deep greens, a cozy cabin, a greenhouse ceremony, lavender florals, a curated tablescape. Nate and Sigrid had the most beautiful wedding in Condon, MT — it had all the woodsy Montana charm you’d expect from a NW Montana wedding, complete with cabins, horses, and plenty of swing dancing. The setting of the riverfront property in the Swan Valley combined with the rainy June atmosphere made this one of the most memorable weddings we’ve ever captured.
