Ahhhh this Montana fall senior session is STUNNING — I was so honored to capture this season of Reece’s life at a location that means so much to her and her family: her great grandmother’s house. Meet Reece
Reece is the coolest — she is so chill, has a super dry + witty sense of humor, is super involved and helpful, and is obviously STUNNING. I was so jacked that she let Reece is a 3 sport athlete and is in multiple clubs and activities at her high school. She is attending the University of Washington in the fall.
Reece’s Senior Photo Location
Reece chose to do her senior photos on her family’s property — at her grandma’s house to be specific. It doesn’t get more Montana than ranch buildings that are over a hundred years old, a generational ranch family home, an old dirt road, and mountain views. I love that we were able to document this season of her life at a place that was so nostalgic for her!

I love when seniors opt for a Fall session! There is nothingggg like fall in Montana — the golden light, the contrasting colors, the INSANELY beautiful tamaracks. I’m obsessed!
Fall Outfit Inspo for Senior Photos
Reece opted for a basic black t-shirt and baggy jeans at the beginning of the session — Reece could literally be a model — it seriously didn’t matter what she wore haha! Buttt I love that she made a simple tweak in the middle of her session by switching her pants out for a burgundy mini-skirt! It seriously does NOT matter what you wear for your photos as long as you feel cute and you look like YOURSELF.
Adding a family mini-session before your shoot!
Adding a family mini-session before your shoot is a great way to document your family without cutting into your senior session time! We did Reece’s senior photos at her great grandma’s house, so we included great Grandma in the family portraits in front of her home. It was SO special and I know they’ll cherish the photos forever!
Cap and gown session before graduation
Bonus tip: Include your bestie in your session! Reece + Asha shared their cap + gown mini-session, and it was the cutest! They were able to get plenty of individual shots + best friend shots, which was also nice because they had a joint graduation party!
