Meet Mike + Kristen
I’m obsessed w/ Mike + Kristen! They’re getting married next fall in New Jersey and it’s going to be the most insanely stunning wedding ever — I CANNOT wait to show you all their venue! They booked their engagement shoot with me during their winter vacation to Yellowstone National Park and we seriously had a blast. Bozeman Spirits Distillery
I met Mike + Kristen for a drink before their shoot at Bozeman Spirits Distillery. This was such a perfect way to get to know them better before we ~officially~ took photos (I obviously snagged some sneaky storytelling shots haha!) and also watch them interact with each other. I quickly realized that these two are at their best when they’re goofing on each other, so we kept the vibe light the whole night!
Glen Lake Rotary Park
After our drink in downtown Bozeman, we headed over to Glen Lake Rotary Park to just play in the snow! These two were seriously so much fun — we barely posed, just played!
Montana Winter Engagement Session Outfits
Mike and Kristen dressed in complimentary fits, NOT matching! I loved that they both opted for sweaters in tones that compliment each other, but didn’t completely match. Kristen wore a cute bright beanie, white sweater, and dark pants, while Mike wore a navy long-sleeved shirt and tan pants. Their look was casual while still looking nice and it matched the location well!
Taking Polaroids during your engagement shoot
Kristen brought her own polaroid camera and we incorporated it into their engagement session! They had so much fun posing each other for polaroids and taking selfies — and the resulting polaroid photos were too freaking cute!
