Meet Jackson Dorvall
Meet Jackson Dorvall, a 2024 graduate of Whitefish High School and one of the kindest, most easygoing seniors I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. A talented soccer player, Jackson’s passion for the sport led him to play at Carroll College in Helena, Montana, after graduation. His laid-back nature made the entire session a breeze, and it was amazing to capture such an exciting time in his life.

Whitefish High School Senior Photos
We started Jackson’s senior session with a quick stop in front of Whitefish High School to capture where he spent his high school years. He wore a soccer t-shirt to remember his time on the field, keeping things simple but meaningful. After snapping a few shots, we headed out to the lake for the adventure session, where we could really dive into capturing more of Jackson’s personality and favorite spots from his childhood.

Whitefish Lake was the perfect spot for Jackson’s senior pictures. We found a great location by the water and started with him walking down a trail lined with trees, which made for a nice backdrop. Then we took some shots right by the water, and they turned out fantastic. The combination of the scenery and Jackson’s laid-back vibe made this part of the session really memorable.
Summer Senior Photos in Whitefish
Choosing summer for senior photos in Whitefish is a smart move, and that’s exactly what Jackson did for his session. The weather is perfect during this time, which is ideal for outdoor photography. Shooting at the high school worked out great since there were hardly any people around, allowing us to focus solely on capturing Jackson’s personality. Plus, summer is perfect for lake pictures, with calm water, lush green trees, and clear blue skies providing a stunning backdrop. This season really highlights the beauty of the area and makes for some amazing shots.
Whitefish Senior Picture Outfit Inspiration
Outfit 1: School gear — Jackson chose a soccer t-shirt!
For his first look, Jackson went with a soccer t-shirt, which perfectly represented his high school spirit. His soccer team won state, making this shirt not just a piece of clothing but a celebration of his hard work and achievements on the field. It was a great way to kick off the session and showcase a significant part of his high school experience.

For his second outfit, Jackson opted for a casual white t-shirt and shorts, which was perfect for our lakeshore setting. This laid-back look gave off major Outer Banks vibes and complemented the serene backdrop of the lake beautifully. It allowed Jackson to relax and be himself, resulting in some truly effortless and natural shots by the water.

Jackson brought the coolest outfits for his senior session, and this one was no exception. At the lake, he wore light wash baggy jeans paired with a blue collared shirt. When I commented that the jeans looked like something his dad would have worn in the 90s, Jackson laughed and revealed that they actually were! It was such a fun, personal touch that added character to his photos and made the session even more memorable.

For his third outfit, Jackson rocked a pair of vintage jeans with a crisp white collared shirt. We took some shots with his truck, which is always a great way to showcase the cars seniors drive during their senior year. It adds a personal element to the photos and helps them remember this important time in their lives
