Jora and Hannah’s Missoula Wedding Timeline

Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, so here's a peek at Hannah and Jora's American wedding timeline to help inspire future couples. This schedule made room for all the special moments without feeling rushed, giving them time to enjoy their day to the fullest! Huge shoutout to their planner Paige from Bustle and Blush for planning their day. :)

Getting ready

Hannah and Jora got ready separately for their American wedding. Hannah spent the morning at her mom’s house with her bridal party and family, while Jora got ready at The Barn on Mullan with his groomsmen. Before seeing each other for the first time, they exchanged meaningful gifts, a sweet moment they both shared privately. With Jora already at the venue and Hannah just a short drive away, the setup made for a smooth, relaxed morning before the celebrations began.

Jora and Hannah’s First look

Hannah and Jora decided to do a first look on a hill near the barn with blue skies overhead, where they exchanged private vows. It was the perfect chance for them to have a quiet moment together before the rest of the day took off. Sharing those vows in private made it all the more personal, and, honestly, it was so emotional that we all ended up tearing up. It was a simple, real moment that set the tone for the rest of the day.

Ceremony at The Barn on Mullan

Hannah and Jora chose The Barn on Mullan for its rustic Montana charm and open outdoor setting. The ceremony took place right by the golf course, with wide open spaces and beautiful views. The high sun made it super hot, but the couple embraced it, sharing their vows in front of family and friends under the bright afternoon sky.

Even though the heat was intense, the location fit their vision perfectly, and there was no need for a backup plan—just lots of water and shade to keep everyone cool!

Barn Reception with Patio Dance Party Overlooking the Golf Course

Hannah and Jora's reception took place at The Barn on Mullan, where they celebrated with family and friends. The reception featured a fun patio dance party that overlooked the golf course, giving guests plenty of space to mingle and enjoy the view. For dinner, they served a delicious buffet-style meal, catered by The Barn on Mullan, and capped the evening with desserts from Cakes in the Zoo. The laid-back atmosphere made it easy for everyone to relax and party, with plenty of food, drinks, and dancing under the open sky.

Neutral boho Montana wedding inspo

Hannah and Jora’s wedding was the epitome of neutral boho chic, with earthy tones and thoughtful details woven throughout the day. As a talented earring designer and self-proclaimed boho queen, Hannah’s personal style shone in every element of the celebration. The color palette was rich with neutrals, rusts, and oranges, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the Montana setting.

The florals, crafted by Bleeding Heart Flower Farm, featured dried elements and soft, neutral blooms that matched the boho vibe perfectly. From the intricate floral installations to the minimalistic yet elegant table decor, every detail contributed to the laid-back yet refined aesthetic. The couple’s outfits also tied into the theme, with Hannah wearing a stunning gown from Honest in Ivory Bridal Shop, while her bridesmaids wore rust-colored dresses from Azazie that harmonized with the overall color palette. The groomsmen complemented the look with classic suits from Men’s Warehouse.

The reception, coordinated by Paige Pine from Bustle and Blush, took place at The Barn on Mullan, with music provided by Bradshaw Media. The cake, from Cakes in the Zoo, was the perfect sweet ending to the evening. The makeup by Whitney Rauthe and hair by Cori Day from Burton's tied the whole look together beautifully.

This boho theme was perfect for their outdoor barn wedding, creating a relaxed yet beautiful environment that allowed their guests to enjoy every moment. The use of warm, neutral tones made the space feel welcoming, and the patio dance party under the stars added to the fun, carefree atmosphere.

Tips for Bringing Boho Wedding Themes to Life:

  1. Focus on Earthy, Neutral Tones: Think rusts, oranges, and soft neutrals for your color palette.

  2. Incorporate Dried Florals: They add texture and a natural, boho feel to your arrangements.

  3. Choose Minimalist Decor: Let the venue and natural surroundings shine by keeping the decor simple yet elegant.

  4. Add Personal Touches: Just like Hannah, bring elements of your own style into the day—whether it’s handmade jewelry, unique stationery, or custom details.

This wedding proves that a neutral boho theme is not only beautiful but timeless, with just the right balance of personal style and thoughtful design.

Highlighting the Couple’s Outfits

Hannah and Jora’s outfits reflected their personal style and added an elegant yet relaxed feel to their boho-inspired day. For the ceremony, Jora wore a neutral tan suit from Men’s Warehouse, which fit the natural setting of The Barn on Mullan perfectly. The warm tone of his suit complemented the earthy colors of the wedding, blending seamlessly with the decor and landscape.

Hannah looked stunning in a long-sleeve lace gown from Honest in Ivory Bridal Shop. The intricate lace details gave the dress a romantic touch, and she added a unique twist with a long necklace that draped down her back, giving her look a modern, boho edge. The long sleeves were a beautiful contrast to the summer heat, adding a timeless elegance to the day.

For the reception, both Hannah and Jora made outfit changes. Jora switched into a sleek black suit, bringing a more formal and classic vibe to the evening’s celebration. Hannah changed into a short white dress, perfect for dancing during the patio party. Her second look was fun, flirty, and practical, making it easy for her to enjoy the night with her guests.

Outfit Inspiration for Your Wedding:

  1. Embrace Outfit Changes: Consider switching up your look for the reception to stay comfortable and add variety to your wedding day style.

  2. Incorporate Unique Accessories: A long necklace, like Hannah’s, can add a stunning detail to your outfit that feels fresh and personalized.

  3. Choose a Versatile Color Palette: Neutral tones like tan and ivory work well in any setting, making your photos timeless and cohesive.
