How the Glacier National Park Ticketing System Will Affect Your 2021 Elopement Plans
Soooo, you might have heard that GNP is implementing a ticketing system for the 2021 Summer season, and I’m sure you have a TON of questions about how this will affect your elopement and vacation plans! Trust me, I get it — there is a lotttt of conflicting info out there and I’m going to try to clear things up here, but long story short: Your ceremony permit will allow you entry into the park. Period. You don’t have to stress about your elopement! Just make sure you list all guests + vehicles, including your videography + photography team and officiant, and bring hard copies for every vehicle involved in your elopement. Present your permit at the gate and you’ll be good to go! With that said, let’s get to answering all of your burning q’s!

WHERE TO GET YOUR TICKETS
Alrighty, let’s get to it!
TICKETED ENTRY INFO
Alllll the info you need to know about the ticketing system that the park is implementing at the West and St. Mary’s entrances can be found here: https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/gtsrticketedentry.htm
From the website:
Day-use visitors who arrive by private vehicle or motorcycle and enter the West and St, Mary Entrances, or via the Camas Road, between 6 am and 5 pm MDT must have a $2.00 Entry Reservation Ticket. Entry Reservation Tickets are valid for seven consecutive days per vehicle. They may be used anytime within that seven day period.
Entry into Glacier National Park at Many Glacier, Two Medicine, or Polebridge will only require a park pass.
HOW TICKETED ENTRY WILL AFFECT YOUR ELOPEMENT
While I highly recommend obtaining tickets so that you can explore the park during the rest your visit, your actual elopement will NOT be affected by this ticketing system because your ceremony permit will allow you entry into the park without a ticket! The permit itself acts as the ticket.
It is EXTREMELY important that you list your guests (including your videography + photography team and officiant) and all vehicles on the permit and print hard copies for every vehicle!
WHERE TO GET YOUR TICKETS
