Gorgeous Summer Many Glacier Senior Session | Paige Nadeau

Gorgeous Summer Many Glacier Senior Session | Paige Nadeau

Introduction

I’m absolutely obsessed with Paige’s senior picture session in Many Glacier! These pics were taken at the coolest spots that not a lot of people go to and we had sooooo much fun. We got a ton of stunning pictures by the lake, waterfall, and in the dreamiest field in front of the jagged mountains at sunset.

Meet Paige Nadeau

Meet Paige, a senior at Bigfork High School, graduating with the class of 2025! Paige is incredibly smart, hardworking, and honestly one of the funniest seniors I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. When I asked her to rate the session out of 10, she gave it a 9 because "there's always room for improvement," which had me laughing so hard! She wanted her senior pictures to have candid, free-spirited vibes, and it couldn’t have been more fitting—she kept the energy light with constant jokes and laughter throughout the entire shoot!

Swiftcurrent Lake Senior Pictures

We started Paige’s senior session at Swiftcurrent Lake, which I typically use as a "warm-up" location to help everyone ease into the shoot. I like to begin with what might be the least favorite spot so we can get comfortable and build momentum. The trail leading down to the lake gave us the perfect opportunity to chat and get to know each other better while incorporating some natural movement shots. Once we reached the water’s edge, we were greeted with a stunning view of the jagged mountains in the background, making for some seriously beautiful photos.

Waterfall Senior Pictures

The next stop for Paige’s senior session was a beautiful waterfall, just a quick five-minute walk from the parking lot at Many Glacier. After a quick outfit change by her car, we headed over to the falls. Since Paige mentioned she’s a little scared of heights, we kept things comfortable by staying on the rocks, not too close to the edge, and the photos turned out amazing! With the waterfall being super loud, we made sure to go over the poses and plan ahead before she got into position, since we couldn’t hear each other over the rushing water. It all worked out perfectly, and Paige totally rocked this spot!

Mountains with Field Senior Pictures

Our final location was a gorgeous field right next to the parking lot, with the iconic jagged ridgeline of Many Glacier towering in the background. The mountains here are some of my favorites, and they looked incredible against the evening sky. Paige had mentioned she wanted some carefree, frolicking-in-the-meadow vibes for her senior pictures, and this spot was absolutely perfect for that. We shot here at sunset, and the golden light combined with the mountains created the most epic backdrop for her photos—it was a dreamy way to wrap up the session!

Summer Senior Photos in Many Glacier

Summer in Many Glacier is absolutely stunning, with its Glacier-green trees, vibrant wildflowers, rushing waterfalls, and golden hour sunsets that seem to last forever. It's an ideal time for senior photos, especially for evening sessions, because the extended daylight gives us plenty of time to explore and capture a variety of shots. While Glacier can get crowded in the summer, we were lucky during Paige’s session and didn’t run into too many people! The warm weather and beautiful landscapes make summer a top choice for anyone looking to capture their senior photos in this epic location.

Glacier National Park Senior Picture Outfit Inspiration

For Paige’s outfits, she stuck with solid colors like white, black, and green, and wore simple patterns to match the scenery. I always suggest that senior girls save their fanciest/flowiest outfit for last because that’s typically where we get the golden + hazy light, so Paige wore her flowiest skirt for the last location at golden hour. She curled her hair herself and did her makeup in the bumpy car ride up to Many Glacier.

Including Your Parent in Your Senior Photos

Having your parents join you for your senior session can make the experience even more special and memorable. For Paige, it was a fun adventure with her mom as they rode up to Many Glacier together. Even though they've lived in the valley all their lives, this was their first time visiting the area, making the day feel extra meaningful. Including a parent not only gives you someone to share the excitement with but also creates lasting memories you'll both look back on fondly.
